Wendy is a speaker, thought leader and business consultant on leveraging the financial rewards of gender equality and inclusive leadership and creator of Not Just a Rib Women’s conference for working women with faith. CEO of Corporate Cowgirl Up and author of the bestselling book “Cowgirl Up: A Woman’s Guide to Navigating the Corporate Frontier”, she has more than 30 years as an executive in the corporate saddle at some of the top telecom Fortune 100 companies and healthcare IT startups. The metamorphosis from computer engineer to social scientist and the vast diversity in her professional life set her up for this bigger work of building gender intelligent leaders, and driving increased profitability and innovation in business. Her academic credentials include a B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. in Computer Science.

Growing up in a small town in Virginia, gave her an appreciation for her faith in Christ, neighbors who watch out for each other, and family that always has your back. Wendy lives out her cowgirl dream of living in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with her son and daughter, is the cofounder of the Coolest Women We Know in Tech, and a member of the board of directors of the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame. She is a corporate cowgirl and passionate advocate for Christ and gender equality for women in technology and business.
